You Are All Cheaters!!

Since I don't have a single regular player that is overachieving from his 2009 real season, and all but two or three are underachieving, the only logical conclusion is that every last one of you is a cheating bastard.

Rule change for suspensions

Lance has proposed a pretty decent idea we need to consider/talk about.

For suspensions, instead of it being an automatic ten day suspension, we subtract one (or more depending on how must rest wasn't correctly used) from the injury rating and roll for an injury.

So he could be out zero, could be out for a long time, depending on the rating. It is a little more realistic. In theory, a pitcher going without the required rest has a better chance of hurting himself.

Fines would still be in place of course.

Scenario one: You pitch a starter on three days rest after he faced 38 batters. He's a 4 injury. Before the next series (in front of the person you're about to play), you roll for injury as a 3. Could get lucky and not miss a game. Could be out 30 days.

Scenario two: Your guy has been injured for six games, you forget and play him three days later. You'd subtract THREE from his injury rating and roll for the injury. If he was a 4 injury, he's now a 1. Could be real bad.

I like it in theory but would like to see what others think. Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday Kevin. You big douchebag.

Claywell is ready for his beating

The Bacon will be beating the snot out of the Quakes this Saturday at 2pm at my house. Anyone else who wants to join us is more than welcome. I think Danny, Kevin and Hahn are still in June.

My Old Lady is out of town for the weekend, I have a fridge full of beer in the basement and a big screen with the Masters and baseball.

Lance Simon is too cool for us

Lance has decided that he is just too cool to have anything to do with a blog that has "Geekball" in the title. I guess that means that I will set the blog to members only and we can use this as a forum to rip on him behind his back.

Everyone okay with that?

A Good Day for Danny

I was looking through the transactions for today, and saw that Trevor Cahill went on the disabled list and Wladimer Balentein got the old DFA treatment. After being back in the league for only one free agency/draft period, here is the list of Danny's guys who were cut or DFA'd.
1. Josh Anderson
2. Elijah Dukes (although in Danny's defense Dukes is now on my team...thank God he hadn't signed him yet!!)
3. Nick Evans
4. Kevin Frandsen
5. Josh Greer
6. Brandon Jones
7. JD Martin (who's that?)
8. Steven Pearce
9. Yusmiero Petit (I was wrong, he is still nowhere)
10. Wladimer Balentein (who's that?)
11. Neil Walker (who's that?)

Now, I saw some eyes roll when I announced my trade with Danny. But I would like to say that I at least traded him one major league baseball player in that deal.....hmm....I wonder where these other guys came from????? Anyone....Anyone????

The blog is up gentleman

Hey Fuckers

Our blog is up. This is where we write about our geekball teams and talk shit about one-another.

This is just a test. I will find something to write about later.

For now I have to figure out a way for you asshats to have blogging privileges.
